Dear Supporters of Southwestern Christian College,
We have been blessed with a simple, yet amazing, opportunity to raise
funds for Southwestern Christian College. It is unlike any method
that we have used in the past. The success of our combined efforts
in this new and exciting model will:
Directly promote and advance the cause for Christ;
Establish a centralized hub of information for the churches of Christ;
Promote the businesses of the participating members of the Church (and
those who wish to advertise to the visitors to our site;)
And, generate $800,000 per year for Southwestern Christian College.
The revenue to be generated for SwCC will come from advertisement sales
on the internet television affiliate
www.Gospelitv.com.
Upon visiting www.Gospelitv.com
a visitor will see church of Christ “only” video programs streamed
directly to their computer screen. Some of the programs available
are the sermons of 2007 Tampa and 2005 Dallas Crusades for Christ, the
television program “Let’s Do It Christ’s Way,” the church of Christ
Unity Fellowship, congregational and group a cappella singing, a growing
list of sermons by some of the greatest gospel preachers in our
brotherhood, and much more. All of the content on the site is
available for “free” and on-demand to the visitor.
The revenue to be generated for SwCC will come from advertisement sales
on the site. The advertisement space on the site is in the form of
a rotational display of electronic ads (E-Ads) that change every 20
seconds. As a visitor watches a program, the ads are in rotation
slightly to the right side of the video. If the visitor sees an ad
of interest, he can click on that ad and be immediately directed to the
advertiser’s website, commercial, or to any information link that the
advertiser has chosen, without interrupting the program that he is
currently watching.
This site is monumental for our churches and for Christians in that it
facilitates:
24-hour access to the preaching of the Gospel of Christ;
Access to the web locations of churches across the nation;
Access to Christian-owned businesses in cities across the country;
Announcements of church of Christ related events to the world via the
world-wide-web.
Here, we are creating a centralized hub of information concerning the
one true Church, its unity in the brotherhood and its members, and at
the same time, raising revenue for Southwestern Christian College.
